Shawuan Lakins, 45, is charged with felony cruelty to animals, said the Bucks County SPCA.

Two pet cats were shot in Falls Township last month, Daily Voice reported

A white cat named Tootsie was found dead, and a black cat named Jackie was badly injured and needed emergency surgery to remove her eye, officials said at the time.

After offering a $2,500 reward, Bucks SPCA said they received a video from a tipster that appeared to show a man in a trench coat shooting at a black cat and a white cat.

Investigators said they believe Lakins is the man in the clip.

“Sadly, BCSPCA is called upon to investigate shootings of owned animals in Bucks County each year," said executive director Linda Reider. "We are so thankful to the community who shared the reward post and news stories on social media."

"This case should send a message to anyone who considers shooting or otherwise harming animals in Bucks County."

Jackie, the black cat, still has a pellet lodged in her skull that surgeons could not remove safely, but she is "home and recovering well," officials said.

Lakins has not been arraigned as of Thursday, Dec. 14, according to court records.
